Industrial Property Rights Support (General Support Program)
Objective
To increase the share and effectiveness of SMEs in meeting the country's economic and social needs, to raise their competitiveness and level, and to achieve integration in industry in line with economic developments.
Scope
Payments made by businesses to the institutions/organizations they apply to in order to obtain the following from the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) or equivalent foreign institutions/organizations:
- Examined Patent Certificate,
- Utility Model Certificate,
- Industrial Design Registration Certificate,
- Integrated Circuit Topography Registration Certificate,
together with patent attorney expenses, and
payments made to the institutions/organizations they apply to in order to obtain the following from foreign equivalents of TÜRKPATENT:
- Trademark Registration Certificates
together with trademark attorney expenses, are supported.
Businesses that hold a domestic trademark registration certificate can apply for the International Trademark Registration Certificate Support.
This support is provided for certificates obtained within the validity period of the program (3 years), regardless of the dates of the applications and payments made to obtain the industrial property certificates.
Who Can Benefit
Businesses registered in the KOSGEB Database can benefit from this support. Obtaining the certificate is a requirement.
Support Amounts and Forms
50% (for Regions 1 and 2) or 60% (for Regions 3 and 4) of eligible expenses are supported, up to a maximum of TRY 20,000. The support is non-repayable.

Applications are made to the KOSGEB Service Center Directorates.
Industrial and Intellectual Property Rights Support (R&D and Innovation Program – Project Development Support)
Objective
To support the research, development, innovation and industrial application projects of small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs with new ideas and inventions based on science and technology, so that they can grow and produce and commercialize new products, new processes, knowledge and/or services.
Scope
Covers the expenses incurred by the business to obtain Examined Patent, Utility Model, Industrial Design Registration and Integrated Circuit Topography Registration Certificates. Payments made to TÜRKPATENT and/or equivalent foreign institutions/organizations, and to patent attorneys authorized by TÜRKPATENT, are covered by this support.
Who Can Benefit
Businesses registered in the KOSGEB Database can benefit from this support. Obtaining the certificate is a requirement.
Support Amounts and Forms
75% of eligible expenses are supported, up to a maximum of TRY 25,000. The support is non-repayable.
