The description and the claim or claims may be submitted at the time of filing in English, French or German. A period of one month is granted, without any notification, for translating them into Turkish and submitting them to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) or to the authority it has designated. An additional period of three months may be requested for submitting the Turkish translations. The request for the additional period must be made at the filing stage or before the one-month period expires, and the fee specified in the fee schedule must be paid together with the request. If the Turkish translations are not submitted to TÜRKPATENT within the prescribed period and the fee specified in the fee schedule is not paid, the application is rejected.
For applications claiming priority, in addition to the above, the priority document, a Turkish translation of the pages of this document containing its bibliographic data, and the original bank receipt showing payment of the priority application fee specified in the fee schedule must be submitted.
