Design
A notarized and consularly legalized power of attorney must be submitted. A description of the design to be registered must be submitted in Arabic. The class of the design must be specified. If priority is claimed, the priority document must be submitted together with its Arabic translation within 3 months of the filing date. The translation must be notarized. After examination, the design is published in the official bulletin for 2 months, during which third parties may file an opposition. Design protection lasts 10 years and can be extended once for 5 years.
