Canada is a member of the PCT. The deadline for entering Canada via the PCT is 30 months. When entering via the PCT, an English or French translation is required, showing whether there are any changes from the original file. A simply signed power of attorney is required for the application. The application is published 18 months after the priority date. An opposition can be filed within 3 months after publication.
