Cuba is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. Applications can be filed via the PCT or by appointing an attorney resident in Cuba. If priority is claimed, the priority document must be submitted within 3 months of the filing date. A signed declaration of the relationship between the applicant and the inventor must be submitted. A Spanish translation of the specification is required.
