Belize is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase with a PCT application is 30 months. For a UK patent, the specification documents certified by the UK and a simple power of attorney are sufficient. If it is not a UK patent, a signed power of attorney legalized by the British consulate is required.
