Information on the applicant and the designer is required. A simply signed power of attorney is required. A visual representation of the design is required. If priority is claimed, the priority document must be submitted at the time of filing. The term of design protection is 10 years. It can be extended by another 5 years, providing a maximum of 15 years of protection. The registration process is completed within 12-24 months.
