Design
An apostilled and signed power of attorney is required. The trade registry gazette must be submitted. An apostilled assignment agreement between the design owner and the designer must be submitted. At least 4 drawings of each design and a description of each design must be submitted. The description must be in Arabic. The term of design protection is 5 years. After 5 years, it can be extended once for another 5 years, providing a maximum of 10 years of protection in total.
