Design
Multiple design applications can be filed. A description of the designs to be registered must be submitted. The images of the designs to be registered must measure at least 8 x 8 cm and at most 16 x 16 cm. After examination, the design is published in the Official Gazette for 3 months. Third parties may file an opposition during this period. If no opposition is filed, registration is completed. The term of design protection is 5 years. This term can be extended up to 25 years by renewing it 4 times.
