Guinea-Bissau is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 30 months. If priority is claimed, an English or French translation of the priority document must be submitted. If the applicant is not located in an OAPI member state, an attorney must be appointed.
