Patent
Seychelles is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. In Seychelles, protection can be obtained on the basis of a UK or European patent. The documents and the full specification must be submitted in English within 3 years of the filing date. A notarized power of attorney must be submitted.
Utility Model
The requirements are the same as for patents. The term of utility model protection is 10 years.
