Senegal is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 30 months. A simply signed power of attorney must be submitted. The full specification must be submitted in French. If priority is claimed, the priority document must be submitted within 6 months of the filing date.
Utility Model
Utility models have the same requirements as patents. The term of protection is 10 years.
