Namibia is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. A local attorney resident in Namibia must be appointed. For applications filed via the PCT, an English translation must be submitted. If the applicant and the inventor are different, the (commercial) relationship between them must be declared. A simply signed power of attorney must be submitted.
