Cyprus is a party to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. A Greek translation of the full specification is required. A simply signed power of attorney is sufficient for filing. The term of patent protection is 20 years. Annuities are payable from the 3rd year onward.
