Monaco is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. A patent application requires engaging a local attorney resident in Monaco. A simply signed power of attorney must be submitted. Four copies of the full specification in French must be submitted. A declaration on the assignment of rights between the applicant and the inventor must be submitted.
