Patent
Serbia is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 30 months. An attorney resident in Serbia must be appointed for the patent application. A declaration explaining the assignment of rights between the applicant and the inventor must be provided.
Utility model
The requirements are the same as for patents. Utility model protection lasts 10 years.
