Lithuania is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. A simply signed power of attorney must be submitted. If the applicant is not resident in Lithuania, a local attorney resident in Lithuania must be appointed. If the applicant and the inventor are different, a notarized declaration of the legal relationship (entitlement) between them must be provided.
