Patent
Greece is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The deadline for entering the national phase via the PCT is 31 months. A Greek translation of the specification documents is required. The abstract must not exceed 150 words. Drawings must be made in India ink on white paper, leaving a 2 cm margin on the edges. The documents must be apostilled. If the applicant is not located in a country party to the European Patent Convention, an attorney must be appointed in Greece.
Utility model
Utility model protection is available. The filing conditions and requirements are the same as for patents. If priority is claimed, the priority document must be submitted at the time of filing.
