Patent
Armenia is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The PCT filing deadline is 31 months. A translation of the invention into Armenian is required. An attorney in Armenia must also be appointed. Patent protection lasts 20 years. To maintain protection for 20 years, the annuities must be paid in full and on time.
Utility model
The requirements are the same as for patents. The total term of protection is 10 years.
